Tardiness & Absences
In the interest of market safety & success, it is imperative that vendors arrive on time to the market, allowing them enough time to do their setup, and be ready for customer facing activity. The start time of the market is when ALL vendors should be completely set up, ready to sell, with products available for purchase.
Please review the below policies regarding tardiness & absences at VenaVer Events’ Farmers Markets.
- SETTING UP: Set-up time is always 1 hour before the start of the market. If the market opens at 9:00AM, setup begins at 8:00AM. There are exceptions by market for hot food vendors & farm vendors, with some arriving up to 2 hours prior to the market start time.
- UNLOADING FROM CAR: You have no more than 10 minutes to unload all your items from your car.
- Do not setup the booth while the car is in the market. Items should be dropped off, car parked/moved, then you set up when you return.
- All cars must be out of the market 15 minutes prior to start time. No exceptions, ever. If the market opens at 9:00AM, your car must be out at 8:45AM. Any cars seen in the market past 845AM are subject to a *late fee fine (see below). There will be no warnings provided.
- Cars should be parked off-site, in the approved vendor parking location. Ask the manager on-site for the specifics.
- LATE FEE FINES:
- Any vendors not setup by the market start time are subject to an immediate $15 late fee, paid at the end of the market. Failure to pay will result in loss of space the following market.
- Any vendors with cars in the market at/or past 8:45AM will be asked immediately to move, and are subject to an immediate $15 late fee, paid at the end of the market.
